A cold winter storm through our area brought snow to some low elevations overnight.
Snow levels fell to about 2,400 feet overnight, giving foothill communities like Grass Valley a dusting of snow.
Temperatures in the Sacramento area dropped to 32 degrees overnight Thursday, and more freezing temperatures are expected through the weekend.
Days will be sunny but the highs will only hit 50 or so in Sacramento and lows are forecast at between 30-34 degrees all the way through next Tuesday.
