STOCKTON (CBS13) – Two people were shot while driving on Highway 99 from Nevada to their home in the Central Valley on Sunday.

According to the CHP, three people were traveling southbound on Highway 99 near Arch Road in Stockton early Sunday morning when a vehicle pulled up behind them and changed lanes like it was about to pass them. Instead of going around, someone in the other car shot at them, hitting two of the passengers.

The two victims were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
