Burglars Hit Four Residences In Davis Over Weekend
DAVIS (CBS13) - Four residences in Davis were burglarized over the weekend, and police now urge residents to make sure they secure their homes and gates.
The burglaries happened in the area of south Davis either on late Sunday night or early Monday morning. In each case, criminals got inside the homes via unlocked windows or sliding glass doors. In two instances, criminals stole laptop computers, jewelry, cash cell phones electronics and credit cards.
In one instance, a resident surprised a burglar who ran from the home through an open window. Unfortunately the victim didn't get a good look at the burglar.
The fourth incident was an attempted burglary.
Police urge residents to make sure all gates, doors and windows are locked. They also ask anyone who sees suspicious activity to call 911 from their home phone or 530-758-3600 from your cellular phone.
