SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A man is recovering from a gunshot wound after he was struck walking out of a 7-11 convenience store in Sacramento overnight.

The man had just purchased something inside the store on Mack Road and Center Parkway at around 11 p.m. Monday night and was walking out when he was shot, say police. He ran back inside the store for help.

The condition of the man is unknown at this time.

Police have not released a suspect description, nor have they announced any arrests.
