The Don Geronimo Show - February 13, 2013

Tonight the guys head to Reno, to be guests at Dennis Hof's Moonlite Bunny Ranch, and broadcast tomorrow's show live from there. The guys talk about how much fun they're going to have, and all the shenanigans they'll be getting into. The guys also bust Slow Joe's balls a bit, as he's still uncertain about getting down with any of the ladies there. We then get into a discussion about the Christopher Dorner standoff yesterday, which ended in a cabin going up in flames with him inside. The guys talk about the coverage, and hear the prank call that Howard Stern's fan Captain Janks made to CBS 2 in L.A. during the coverage.

After some discussion about the State Of The Union address, and Don's love for the Westminster Dog Show, Little Joe throws one of the crappy chairs in the control room, G.M. Steve has a new name: Stevie Benz, and we hear Sweet Brown's new dentist commercial. The guys also talk about Marco Rubio's State Of The Union rebuttal, and discuss the non-event that was him drinking bottled water during the speech. Don also reads the latest column from USA Today's Steve Wilson, before it's time for a new Match Game!

We then get a visit from comedian Paula Poundstone. Paula, who will be performing at the Crest Theater in Sacramento on Saturday night, talks about doing her show unscripted, which of her ties are the luckiest, Phyllis Diller's wigs, and what it's like being on Craig Ferguson's show. After Paula, comedian Rob Schneider stops by. Rob, who is performing at Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco Thursday through Sunday, talks about the Dorner coverage yesterday, how his his show "Rob" got screwed up by the network, being in "Jack And Jill," which is one of Don's favorites, and working with his old SNL buddies.

It's then time for a quick phone scan, today with only one question: How long would you last with Kate Upton? After some very honest answers from our callers, our good buddy Dennis Hof calls in. Dennis talks with the guys about coming up to Reno tonight, and doing the show at the Bunny Ranch tomorrow morning! Don then plays a youtube video of a loyal Kings fan singing about the Kings staying in Sacramento, to the tune of "Imagine" by John Lennon, before it's time for "Phantom News." Today, Kate Upton's "body shut down" during the SI photo shoot in Antarctica, new network shows for this fall, last week's TV ratings, and the top grossing romantic comedies of all time. And, after "give up" time is called at 9:48, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
