SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A driver is on the run after a chase in midtown Sacramento on Friday.

Sacramento tried to pull the driver over at E and 24th Streets overnight, but the man ran off down an alley.

Officers chased after the man, but eventually lost him. They set up a perimeter in the area where he was thought to be hiding, but he never surfaced.
