Crash Temporarily Closes I Street Bridge

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Commuters crossing the Sacramento River into downtown Sacramento may have had to find a different way to work Wednesday morning.

I Street Bridge was closed Wednesday morning due to a crash. The bridge, which connects downtown Sacramento and West Sacramento, was closed at around 7 a.m. after two vehicles collided. The bridge reopened an hour later.

Police say ice on the road bridge may have been a factor.
