THORNTON (CBS13) – A gas station shooting in Thornton has left one man dead and another in critical condition Friday night, authorities say.

San Joaquin County sheriff’s deputies say they are searching for two vehicles that fled the scene of the Chevron station at 9015 W. Walnut Grove Road around 8 p.m.

Both victims, Hispanic males in their 20s, were transported to nearby hospitals.
