Looks like rain showers will be here by around 5 a.m. Thursday morning, so wet roads are likely for the morning commute.
Rain will push into the foothills/Sierra by the afternoon and any clearing we see in the valley could lead to potential afternoon thunderstorms. Highs Thursday will be 10-15 degrees cooler than today, which is in the 60s.
Snow will fall in the Sierra Thursday night into Friday morning with accumulations of around two inches possible down to 6,000 feet. Ski resorts could get five to six inches.
Some clouds will remain on Friday, but only an isolated chance of a shower mainly north of the I-80 corridor.
Looks like another system moving in Sunday could mean a wet end to the weekend.
April showers bring May flowers!
