The Grant Napear Show – April 4, 2013

Grant discussed the fight between Sacramento & Seattle over the Kings & how potential hang ups on arena construction in each city could ultimately decide where the Kings end up. Grant also talked A’s and Giants baseball and highlighted the excitement over the Giants returning to AT&T Park for their home opener and 2012 championship celebration.

Sacramento Kings head coach Keith Smart joined Grant in the 5 o’clock hour to discuss his team’s poor play & inability to finish at the rim in their 112-102 loss to the Houston Rockets Wednesday night. Smart also gave his thoughts on the Kings next opponent, the Dallas Mavericks.

Dave “Softy” Mahler, radio host on Sports Radio KJR in Seattle, joined Grant in the 6 o’clock hour to discuss the Kings potential move to Seattle. Mahler thought that it was clear NBA commissioner David Stern had a desire to keep the Kings in Sacramento but didn’t know if that would be enough to make the owners vote one way or another. Mahler also gave Grant his thoughts and predictions on the Final Four in Atlanta, GA.
