Man's Body Found In Apartment In Sacramento's Pocket Area
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A man's body was found Monday morning in a Sacramento apartment.
The body of a black male in his 30s was discovered at a residence in the 8000 block of Pocket Road, say police, after friends did a welfare check after not hearing from the man.
According to Sacramento Police Department spokesperson Officer Michele Gigante, the male suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene by fire personnel.
Homicide detectives and CSI were called out to the scene.
Police have yet to establish a motive or identify any suspects. It is unknown how long the man has been dead.
The man has not been identified yet.
