Burglary Suspect In San Diego Crushed By His Own Car

SAN DIEGO (AP) — San Diego police say a burglary suspect has been crushed to death by his own car while fleeing the scene.

Police tell City News Service that the 40-year-old was speeding away from the burglary scene in a minivan when he hit a guard rail in Point Loma and was thrown from the car Sunday evening.

Police say the minivan rolled, crushing him.

His name hasn't been released.
