The Don Geronimo - April 30, 2013

The day starts with the NBA Relocation Committee's rejection of the proposal to move the Kings to Seattle! The guys talk about the unanimous vote to keep the Kings in Sacramento, all the great work that Mayor Kevin Johnson did with the city to save the team, and how the fans all came together to keep the Kings in Sacramento. Don also tells us that we can finally say "Screw the Maloofs!" After Doni tells us about a job in New York that pays $73K a year to encourage women to breastfeed, we get an update on Don's recently fired DJ buddy Jack Diamond, and hear Seattle's reaction to the NBA's rejection. The guys then talk about the media flip out over NBA player Jason Collins coming out of the closet yesterday, and NFL wide receiver Mike Wallace's homophobic tweet about him.

We then get an in studio visit from Jason Mewes, star of the "Jay and Silent Bob" movies. Jason, along with his sidekick Kevin Smith, will be at the Crest Theater tonight to present their animated film "Jay and Bob's Super Groovy Cartoon Movie." Jason talks with the guys about getting sober, and how his wife, along with Kevin Smith, helped him with it, having his own action figure, doing a full frontal nude scene in "Zack & Miri Make A Porno," and the making of the animated feature.

We also have a mystery guest on the show, and the guys play 20 Questions to guess, but after failing miserably, Don tells us that it's Heidi Fleiss! The former madam tells us about the new brothel she's renovating with Dennis Hof! After hearing about a Kentucky man who was arrested for eating lint off the floor of a Burlington Coat Factory, and that Meatloaf had urine injected into him to prevent allergies, it's time for the "Phantom News." Today, the Budweiser "Buddy Cup," Amanda Knox on Diane Sawyer tonight, and Amy Schumer's new show premieres on Comedy Central this evening. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
