Rocklin Residents Warned About Burglars Breaking Down Doors
ROCKLIN (CBS13) — Police are warning residents to be on guard as burglars are targeting homes, bashing down doors four times in the last 30 days.
Most of the Rocklin break-ins have happened near Sierra Community College. Rocklin police don't have much information about the thieves so far.
Police say it appears some of the victims were on vacation, and posted their adventures on social media.
In three of the cases, no one was home, but burglars startled one person when they tried to break in. The homeowner victim never had a chance to see what the bad guys looked like.
Neighbors are already taking preventative measures to stay safe, but believe there is only so much they can do.
