Natomas Apartment Break-ins Have Residents On Edge
NATOMAS (CBS13) — Residents at a Natomas apartment complex are on edge after four burglaries where the suspect skipped the front door, opting for windows and patio doors instead.
Investigators say the burglar hit just before midnight on Tuesday. They believe he forced his way through patio doors or windows and stole electronics.
Shelly and her roommate say they were victimized a couple of months ago by a burglar. The perpetrator decided to go through the door instead of the window and ransacked the place.
"They kicked in my door, but they didn't take any of my jewelry," she said. "But all they took was a laptop."
Police are canvassing the area hoping to find a witness to help catch the suspect.
