Suspicious Package At West Sacramento Post Office Turns Out To Be Battery
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - West Sacramento police say a suspicious package at the USPS facility on Industrial Boulevard in West Sacramento turned out to be a battery.
An employee says they heard a beeping sound coming from a package on a conveyor belt and alerted authorities. The package was moved to a cart and was wheeled into the parking lot.
It was later opened and turned out to be an alarm on a battery.
No one inside the post office was evacuated.
