Armed Gunmen Fire On Family At Stockton Park
STOCKTON (CBS13) - A family barbecuing in a Stockton park Sunday afternoon had a scare when two men walked up carrying handguns.
The incident happened in the park district located in the 100 block of East Fremont Street. At around 4 p.m., two men walked up from Pilgrim Street toward the family, pointed handguns at them, fired several times and ran off, say police. Fortunately nobody was hit.
A grey colored SUV was seen speeding away from the area.
Police describe the suspects as black males, ages 13-25, wearing hooded sweatshirts.
