New Sacramento Kings GM Pete D’Alessandro Joins The Grant Napear Show

New Sacramento Kings GM Pete D’Alessandro joined Grant today to discuss his new position and his vision for the team.

D’Alessandro shared his excitement for his opportunity to become an NBA general manager and said in making his decision to join the team, he realized the Kings have the perfect storm of good things (new ownership, new coach and a new arena) and he felt it was a good fit for him. D’Alessandro also talked about the multi-year process of turning the Kings around, the relationship he wants to build with new head coach Michael Malone, the creativity he brings to his new job, having only a week to prepare for the draft, the cutting edge of technology the new ownership group brings to the Kings, the people who have influenced him over the years, his relationship with Chris Mullin and the upcoming task of filling out positions in his front office.
