Body Discovered In Citrus Heights' Rusch Park
CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) - Citrus Heights police say there were no signs of foul play after a body was discovered in Rusch Park.
An adult man was discovered early Sunday morning in the creek.
"There's always people here. They have barbeque birthday parties, a skate park right around the corner. It's always packed with people here," said Megan Duvauchelle.
People in the neighborhood say it's always been a fun, safe park. However, they have seen an increase in the homeless population in recent months.
"It makes us feel uncomfortable cause it's uncommon, unusual. So it shows us maybe something is going on that could get worse," said Marissa Mannan.
The cause of death and identity of the victim have not been released.
