UPDATED: Highway 113 Sinkhole Will Take 2 Days To Repair

KNIGHTS LANDING (CBS13) - A sinkhole impacted traffic Thursday morning on Highway 113, just north of Knights Landing.

A broken pipe caused the giant sinkhole near Riggins Road, where Caltrans crews have been working all night on the repairs. Detours are in place as traffic is only permitted in one direction.

The sinkhole is about nine feet deep and six feet wide.

The hole was discovered around 7 p.m. Wednesday and will take at least two days to repair said Caltrans.

The reclamation district is going to slow down the flow of water so crews can fix the pipe.
