Suspect in Fatal Florin Fire Found Dead In Huntington Beach

HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBS13) — The suspect in a fire in a Florin home where two bodies were found inside has been found dead in Huntington Beach in a possible murder-suicide.

Two dead men were found near a park area in the jurisdiction of the Huntington Beach Police Department. Officers have said one of the deceased men was Abraham Felmley, the man sought in connection with Monday's fire.

Police have been searching for Felmley since the fire before noon on Monday. Around 3 p.m. on Monday, a fisherman was carjacked in Merced by someone driving a truck that was at the home before the fire was set.

Family members say Felmley's grandfather and uncle lived at the French Road home.

Investigators say the two men were beaten before the home was set on fire.

Someone found Felmley and a third man dead in a Huntington Beach park. Both had been shot to death. It's not clear if there was a connection between the man and Flemley.

On Monday, Femley's uncle, Darryl, told CBS13 he called police several times in the past week to report suspicious and threatening behavior by his nephew, who was a convicted felon on parole.

Darryl says he was told by police nothing could be done until a crime was committed.

A Sacramento Police spokesman said on Tuesday that the department has no record of any calls from him.
