Homeless Man Reveals Foot-Fetish Roots In Exclusive Jailhouse Interview

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A homeless man is in jail after police say he stalked women so he could suck on their toes. He's only talking to CBS13.

William Russell says he has a criminal weakness for exposed toes.

"I've had a fetish all my life and it's always been under control and stuff," he said. "I'd massage them at least, or suck them. I remember I was younger sucking toes."

He admitted to CBS13 that his obsession, and love for women's toes put him behind bars.

"God allowed me to love feet, female feet."

Sacramento County investigators say last week his foot obsession turned into sexual assault at this apartment complex when he forced his way into a woman's apartment.

"I had to get it some kind of way, even if I took it."

He says he was overwhelmed with the sight of her slightly exposed feet.

"I threatened her, and I made her do what I wanted her to do."

Russell admits he made the stranger take off her shoes.

"I noticed she had pretty feet and everything."

He says while his victim cried and feared for her life, he placed her foot in his mouth and began touching himself.

"I was like man, I really don't want to do this, but at the same time, I was like, I probably can get away with it."

Hoping to gratify himself, Russell confessed to CBS13 that over the course of 30 days, he attacked three women in different location of the county with his foot fetish.

One got away.

"I put my hand over her mouth and everything, and she was screaming too loud, so I just left."

Sarah Remis lives in the same complex and says Russell went after her toes.

"He said, 'Can I look at them?' And I said, Oh OK,'" she said. "'Can I touch the bottom?' And I said, 'No, I really gotta go.' So I got in my car and flew off."

Russell describes his fetish as a gift.

"I don't know man, I just like pretty feet. It's a gift," he said. "It really is a gift to like beautiful feet to see the beauty in it. If they're really beautiful feet."

Russell is facing numerous felony charges for touching one victim for his sexual gratifying, and even allegedly kidnapping her.

His bail has been set at $1.3 million.
