Suspected Sacramento Toe Sucker Makes First Appearance In Court

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A man accused of stalking women so he could suck on their toes made his first court appearance on Tuesday.

William Russell faces charges of burglary, kidnapping and sexual assault.

Last night, he confessed to CBS13 that his obsession for women's toes put him behind bars.

"God allowed me to love feet, female's feet."

Sacramento County investigators say last week that he attacked a woman at an apartment complex when he forced his way in.

Russell admitted to CBS13 that he attacked three women in 30 days. One got away.

"I put my hand over her mouth and everything, and she was screaming too loud, so I just left."

His family is still processing what he's accused of.

"That's not my son, that's not him," said his mother, Kimmeco Spencer-Hunter. "He's a good kid, and he's smart, but there's some things he just can't process."

His wife of two years says she still is there for him.

"I give him a chance and another chance and another chance because I love him," Eshoniah Russell said.

According to an article published in psychology today, it's not about the sex, but the thrill of controlling potential victims.

According to the study, "The offender fantasizes, schemes, and develops a modus operandi. There is excitement in every phase, before during and after the act.

Russell confirmed that theory on Monday.

"I was like, man, I really don't want to do this, but at the same time, I was like I probably can get away with it."
