The Grant Napear Show – July 30, 2013

Jason Ross fills in for Grant, who is on vacation for the week. Jason opened the show taking phone calls about former San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson joining the rival Dodgers and the possibility of the Kings offering DeMarcus Cousins a contract extension.

Rob Mahoney, writer for SI.com, came onto the show to discuss why giving Cousins a contract extension would be a low-risk, high-reward deal.

Kate Longworth, from CSN Bay Area, joined Jason to talk about the A’s and Raiders.

Sacramento Bee writer, Ryan Lillis,came on to the show to discuss the latest on the Sacramento arena news including Turner Construction being selected for the project and potential roadblocks that the anti-arena group might present. Ryan also elaborates on his recent article about Sacramento’s push for a Major League Soccer franchise.

Jason took phone calls on thoughts about a Major League Soccer franchise potentially coming to Sacramento and the anti-arena group.
