The Grant Napear Show - August 2, 2013

Jason fills in for Grant, who will return to the show on Monday. Jason opened up the show discussing the Kings' latest addition to the coaching staff, Corliss Williamson. Jason also spent some time talking about Tiger Woods's dominating performance thus far at the Bridgestone Open and the 49ers' latest WR signing Austin Collie.

Corliss Williamson, the Kings' new assistant coach, joined Jason on the show to discuss his coaching career at Central Arkansas and how difficult it was to leave. Corliss also talked about how excited he is to be apart of the Sacramento Kings again and how he is looking forward to working with Demarcus Cousins and the rest of the big men.

Jason took phone calls on the Kings team defense, the latest acquisition of Corliss Williamson, and Greg Oden's decision.

Yahoo! Sports fantasy football expert, Brad Evans, joined Jason to break down every aspect of fantasy football this year. Brad talked about what to expect this year from Colin Kaepernick, Vernon Davis, the 49ers defense, and Darren McFadden. He also went over his power rankings at each position and his sleepers.

Paul Gutierrez, A's insider for CSN Bay Area, came on to the show to discuss A's baseball leading up to the post-season. Paul talked about the big series coming up between the A's and the Rangers, including the pitching matchups for each game.

Head football coach for the Sacramento State Hornets, Marshall Sperbeck, joined Jason on the show to talk about the upcoming season. Marshall discussed why he thinks his team is ready to make the jump to the next level and become a playoff team. He also talked about his newest recruits out of Northern California and opening the season against San Jose State.

Rob Gould, the new head football coach for UC Davis, came on to the show to discuss his goals and philosophies for the team this year. Rob also talked about his coaching history and what he likes about UC Davis so far.
