Elderly Antelope Man Accused Of Molesting Girl, More Victims Feared

ANTELOPE (CBS13) — A 70-year-old man seen as a grandfather figure in a neighborhood is accused of a sex crime against a child—and investigators fear there could be more victims.

Sacramento County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Gordon Allen Wilson after the alleged victim told her father what happened.

Some neighbors in a small neighborhood court in Antelope are still in disbelief after the arrest, while others say they are disgusted.

"I don't know, it's hard for all of us."

Sacramento County investigators say Wilson has been allegedly molesting a elementary-school-aged girl for almost a year.

He faces multiple counts of assault.

Some are shocked because Wilson is described as a well-respected neighbor, who is very friends, especially with the kids.

He's lived in the neighborhood for at least a dozen years.

But one neighbor who didn't want to be identified says she always felt uneasy around him

"There's a vibe. My son even says he gives him the willies a little bit."

But here's the disturbing part, officers are concerned there are more victims outthere.

"We have information there may have been kids he may have watched in some sort of babysitting capacity or had been in the home from time to time," said Jason Ramos with the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.
