SWAT Officers Search Natomas Neighborhood For Armed Robber

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – SWAT officers are searching a Sacramento neighborhood for a man who was involved in an armed robbery on Wednesday.

Police closed a portion of Fairbanks Avenue near Norwood Avenue in Natomas while SWAT personnel searched the area for the man. They believe he could be armed and dangerous.

The search stems from an armed robbery on Tuesday. The victim was walking on Truxel Road when three people walked up and one of the men took money from the victim’s hand and pulled out a gun.

The victim was not injured.

Nearby Fairbanks Elementary School is not being affected by the search, say officers.
