Burial Service Arranged For Infant Found Dead In Roseville Park

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) - A burial service has been arranged for an infant newborn baby who was found dead in Roseville's Saugstad Park in July.

Park workers found the baby carefully wrapped in a plastic bag and placed in a box hidden in the bushes. The baby had appeared to be dead for days, it's umbilical cord still attached. The baby showed no signs of trauma and may have been stillborn.

The identity of the infant is still unknown.

The baby will be laid to rest on September 18 at 10 a.m. following a brief service at the the New Auburn Public Cemetery at 1040 Collins Drive in Auburn. The service is open to the public.
