1 Killed, 4 Injured In Stockton Shooting

STOCKTON (CBS13) - At least one suspect is on the run after several people were shot near a market in Stockton on Tuesday night.

Police say the shooting happened at around 9:30 p.m. near Danny's Market on North Airport Way. When officers arrived they found five victims. One was pronounced dead and the others are in the hospital – at least one is in critical condition.

Detectives say they don't have much to go on.

"We really have no information right now on a motive or suspect," said Ofc. Joe Silva with the Stockton Police Dept. "I'm really hoping that's what we'll be able to get with our first interviews at the office."

Detectives say there may be multiple suspects on the run. They also say several guns were used in the shooting.
