Police: Female Student Sexually Assaulted In Delta College Stairwell

STOCKTON (CBS13) - Once again, Stockton police are searching for a sexual assailant after a female student reported being attacked at San Joaquin Delta College Wednesday.

The student told police she was walking alone in the southeast stairwell of the Cunningham building when a man approaching from behind grabbed her butt and fondled her breasts.

Police say the woman fought back before the suspect fled down the stairs.

The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 25 and 30 years old. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall, has a medium build, and a short, scruffy beard. The suspect's teeth appear to be dirty, and his eyebrows bushy. He is also described as having acne and a body odor.

Investigators say he was last seen wearing a dirty, black pullover sweat jacket with front pockets, tan pants with cargo pockets, and black Converse shoes with white laces.

Anyone with information regarding this crime is urged to contact Officer Geff Greenwood at (209) 954-5000.
