Sacramento Kings To Honor Sign Lady At "Pink In The Paint" Breast Cancer Awareness Night

Barbara Rust, known to Kings fans as "sign lady," has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be honored at tonight's preseason game against the Golden State Warriors for "Pink in the Paint" Breast Cancer Awareness night.

For "Pink in the Paint" night, the Kings are promoting Albie Aware, a local foundation created in the memory of Albie Carson, a 50-year Sacramento resident, who lost the fight to breast cancer in 2002.

Fans can purchase a special Kings and pink ribbon logo T-shirt for $15, in which all of the proceeds will go to benefit Albie Aware. Money is also being raised for the foundation by auctioning off 2 signs made by Rust.

There will be a special halftime presentation by owners Vivek Ranadive and Mark Mastrov, along with team president, Chris Granger.

The Kings are offering special tickets for the game starting at $12.
