With the start of the Kings Season starting last night Grant kicked off the show talking about the game and the atmosphere that was in the building from the start. He talked about the journey that the team had gone through over the years and what last night felt like, to him, as well as what it meant for some of the people in the arena. He asked the listeners to call in and explain the night that they had and what it felt like to be in the arena or even watching it at home.

During Grant’s rant Grant talked about Alex Rodriguez and being involved in the news after having negative things to say about both Bud Selig and Major League Baseball as a whole throughout his suspension.

Around 3:45 Sam Amick of Sports Illustrated called into the show to talk about Jimmer Fredette not having his contract renewed next year as well as what he thought about the game last night, the emotion of the crowd and going forward.

Around 4:05 Kings point guard Greivis Vasquez called in and talked about the game last night, the atmosphere of the arena, the fan support that he saw as well as upcoming games and matchups that he’ll encounter as the season progresses.

Later on Scott Howard Cooper of NBA.com called in and talked about the game last night and his thoughts on the good and bad things that he saw from the team as well as the maturity, and occasional immaturity of Demarcus Cousins.

Brandon Lang of brandonlang.com called in later and gave his picks about this weekend’s matchups in both the NFL and college football. He gave his thoughts on teams such as the New Orleans Saints, the Seattle Seahawks as well as Florida State vs. Miami in college football.
