Annoyed by Prerecorded Sales Calls?

Sales calls can be annoying, but the prerecorded ones are also illegal.

"Hello, are your carpets dirty?" the recording begins, offering prices "as low as $9.95 a room."

So who's behind the recorded phone messages?

A Call Kurtis investigation has learned robocalls have been outlawed for years, but some companies haven't gotten the message.

"Something's really shady here, and we just have to get to the bottom of it," Kurtis told a company allegedly caught using robocalls to ramp up business.
