Granite Bay High School Locks Down After Reports Of Possible Bomb Threat

GRANITE BAY (CBS13) - Reports of a possible bomb threat at Granite Bay High School forced the school to go on lockdown Thursday morning.

The lockdown, which ended just before noon, was prompted after a suspicious note was found in the bathroom, according to Placer County sheriff's deputies.

The campus was on lockdown as deputies searched the campus. Parents say kids were being sheltered in place.

Several parents showed up to pick up their kids.
