Crews Say Abandoned House Fire In Carmichael Likely Arson

CARMICHAEL (CBS13) - Metro firefighters say an early Saturday morning fire at an abandoned Carmichael home is likely arson.

The blaze on Marietta Way was put out around 4 a.m., and was contained before it could spread to other homes. Witnesses say flames could be seen coming from both the first and second floors of the home.

Firefighters say the abandoned home is frequented by the homeless.

No injuries were reported.
