SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - The woman accused of hitting a Sacramento County Sheriff's deputy with her car on Wednesday morning is expected to appear before a judge on Friday.

Twenty-seven-year-old Anna Yi will face a judge in connection with several felony and misdemeanor charges stemming from the dangerous incident.

A deputy says he spotted Yi near Kiefer Boulevard, believing she was stranded. When he tried to investigate, Yi hit the deputy with her car, say detectives. The deputy shot at Yi, but missed. She was arrested later that morning by Ranch Cordova police.

Yi was booked into the Sacramento Main Jail on several felony criminal charges, including assault on a peace officer, evading police, driving under the influence of a narcotic, resisting or obstructing a peace officer, bringing unauthorized drugs into prion and possession of marijuana. Her bail is set at $120,000.
