Grant opened up the show discussing the wild weekend in college football and the San Francisco 49ers. Callers gave their thoughts on the Kings’ loss to the Warriors, NFL officiating, and the BCS rankings.
Ted Robinson, voice of the San Francisco 49ers, joined Grant on the show to discuss the 49ers’ victory over the Rams. Ted talked about Joe Staley’s injury, Michael Crabtree’s return, and Mike Iupati’s status for next week. Ted also gave his thoughts on possible playoff matchups for the 49ers.
Head coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Scott Brooks, came on to the show to talk about tomorrow’s game against the Kings. Scott discussed the new additions to the Thunder’s roster, Kevin Durant’s heavy minutes, and the Thunder’s need to improve on the road. Scott also gave his thoughts on the passionate fans in Oklahoma City.
Mike Pereira, Rules Analyst at Fox Sports, joined Grant on the show to discuss the NFL officiating. Mike explained the difficulty of officiating due to the speed of play and noise in professional sports. Mike also talked about the officiating at the end of the Giants-Redskins game last evening.
