Chad Smith Of The Red Hot Chili Peppers Announces 'Big Hello To Brooklyn' Show With MS MR, New Politics & More

Get ready for a Super Bowl-sized pregame party with one killer soundtrack.

The night before Super Bowl XLVIII kicks off at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline WFAN's "Big Hello to Brooklyn" show at the Barclays Center on Saturday, February 1, 2014. New Politics, MS MR, J Roddy Walston & the Business and Basic Vacation will also play the concert hosted by New York's pioneering sports radio station.

Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith joined WFAN morning show hosts Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton to announce the concert today (December 16).

Tickets for WFAN's Big Hello To Brooklyn will go on sale this Friday, December 20 starting at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster and the Barclays Center site. American Express cardholders will get an early jump on tickets before the general public, starting Tuesday, December 17 at 10 a.m. ET through Thursday, December 19 at 10 p.m. ET.

WFAN's Big Hello to Brooklyn will wrap up the Kickoff In Brooklyn series, following a night of championship boxing on January 30 and an NBA match-up with the hometown Brooklyn Nets taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder on January 31.
