The Grant Napear Show – January 7, 2014

The Grant Napear Show kicked off his show talking about the San Francisco 49ers game last weekend against the Green Bay Packers and how Kaepernick looked and how the team performed in the weather. Grant also talked about the Kings’s play as of late and how he thinks they will do tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers. Grant also talked about the Dennis Rodman situation and having a group of players travel to North Korea and play basketball. Grant talked about how embarrassing he felt it was.

Later on Grant talked to Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee about the San Francisco 49ers game and what Barrows thought about the way the team played as well as talking about the game next week against the Carolina Panthers.

Around 4:35 Grant had 14 time grand slam champion Pete Sampras on the show to talk an event that he, James Blake, John McEnroe and Jim Courier will be a part of at Sleep Train Arena in February. Sampras talked about the event as well as some of his favorite matches of his career as well as moments he wished he could redo.

Grant’s Rant talked about the fact that, once again there wont be a unanimous hall of fame inductee for the baseball hall of fame. This week it was announced that at least one writer wont vote for Maddux and Grant ranted on his frustrations on how someone thinks Maddux isn’t a Hall of Famer.
