Woman Shot During Home Invasion; Suspects Flee With Cash, Pot
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A woman was shot in the leg during a suspected home invasion on Sunday, Sacramento Police said.
According to police three men between the ages of 17 and 21 forced their way into a home on Crandall Avenue, just west of Marysville Boulevard. During a struggle with the woman over her purse, one of the suspects fired, hitting the woman in the lower leg.
Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
After the suspected home invasion, the suspects fled on foot with money and marijuana.
