Champs Sports Criticized For Using 'Amber Alert' In Tweet About Actress

A tweet sent out by sporting goods retailer, Champs Sports, has many crying foul on social media.

The company sent out the tweet at 11:22 a.m. Wednesday that read: "Amber Heard Needs To Be Seen #WCW" For those not familiar with #WCW, it stands for Woman Crush Wednesday. Then under the text, there's a black and white photo of the actress and model with the words "Amber Alert" across the front.

The tweet has since been removed from the company's page, but here's a screenshot:

Amber Alerts are issued by law enforcement across the country as means of locating kidnapped children. As you can imagine, several people who read the tweet were upset about it and made their opinion known to the company via twitter.
