Police: Robbers Held Transient At Gunpoint To Rob Store

STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say a couple of armed robbers held a homeless person at gunpoint to help them rob a pizza parlor.

The incident happened just after 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Little Ceasars Pizza along E. Fremont Street, according to the Stockton Police Department. Police say that one of the suspects put a gun to the back of the homeless man and walked him into the store.

At the same time, the second suspect ran into the back office and grabbed the cashbox.

Once they had the cashbox, the suspects took off – first running on Oak Street to F Street, then into a grey-colored Toyota Tacoma King Cab. One of the suspects was wearing a red-colored hoodie with the words "OBEY' printed on it.

The homeless person wasn't apparently injured in the incident. About $150-$200 was stolen.
