SAN FRANCISCO (CBS13) – San Francisco 49ers star Colin Kaepernick took to Twitter Friday morning to respond to reports that he had been named in a “suspicious incident” investigation. first reported the story, characterizing an April 1 incident at a Miami apartment as a possible sexual assault investigation.

Kaepernick wrote, over a series of three tweets:

The Miami Police report characterizes the event only as a “suspicious incident” investigation, and no charges have been filed against Kaepernick or the two other NFL players named in the report.
