Bills Trade WR Johnson To 49ers For Pick

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) A person familiar with the trade has confirmed to The Associated Press that Buffalo Bills have dealt receiver Stevie Johnson to the San Francisco 49ers.

The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because neither team has announced the move made on Friday. ESPN first reported the trade, and said the Bills acquired a conditional fourth-round pick.

The deal was made a day after the Bills traded up five spots to select Clemson receiver Sammy Watkins with the fourth pick in the NFL draft.

Johnson proved to be the odd man out in a crowded group of receivers. The Bills acquired Mike Williams in a trade with Tampa Bay last month. Last year, Buffalo used second- and third-round picks to draft Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin.
