Northern Illinois University  head coach Rod Carey joined Deuce & J-Ross to discuss his player, Jimmie Ward, getting drafted by the San Francisco 49ers. Carey told the guys that he ran the 40 at the combine with a broken foot, and says his toughness and love of football is what will make him be a great player at the next level. He also said the Ward has matured a lot over the last year and took strides in the leadership department.
