Official: Body Recovered From Folsom Lake
FOLSOM (CBS13) – A State Parks official says that a body has been recovered from Folsom Lake late Friday morning.
Vicky Waters, Deputy Director of Public Affairs for California State Parks, tells CBS13 that the body was recovered around 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday, search efforts for four men missing since their boat capsized on Folsom Lake over the weekend were scaled back after several days of fruitless searching. Crews had been scouring the lake using sonar and with divers. Daily boat patrols have also been taking place.
Authorities could not say if the body is that of one of the missing men.
