I officially started maternity leave last week!  Our CBS13 & Good Day Sacramento family surprised me with flowers and treats during my last day at work.  Mangoes and Cinnabon cinnamon rolls have been my top cravings during my pregnancy.  :) I love my co-workers!  See the video here!

A big thank you to all of you who have given my baby girl gifts!  This beautiful, soft, personalized blanket is from CHP Officer Rich Wetzel. I love it!  Thank you!

My first week of maternity leave was actually a lot busier than I expected.  I spent a lot of time cleaning our home and getting the nursery ready for baby’s arrival.  I’m still not finished, but here’s how the nursery looks now!

I also got the hospital bag, car seat and stroller ready.  I had a maternity shoot several days ago as well.  My husband was the man behind the camera.  Here are some pictures!

At 37 weeks, I will be visiting the doctor once a week now.  My last appointment went great.  Baby is doing well, but she has definitely been giving mommy a hard time!  There are times I can’t walk or move because I’m in a lot of pain!  I obviously can’t handle pain, so I’ve already asked my doctor to give me an epidural when the time comes.  Baby feels a lot heavier now and I can tell she’s having a hard time moving in such small headquarters.

I’ve been behind on the posts, but I’ll make sure to keep you updated on my mommy blog about once a week while I’m on maternity leave.  Thank you for all your love and support.  It truly means so much to me.  The countdown begins!
