Man Flashes Gun At Woman Out Driving With Her Two Children

STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say that a woman out driving with her two children Sunday morning found herself staring down a man with a gun.

The incident happened near Hammertown Drive and Montauban Avenue around 10:15 a.m., according to the Stockton Police Department. The woman says that she was driving in the area with her 14-year-old and 8-year-old sons when a car pulled up next to her.

Swerving into her lane, the driver of the other car pulled out what looked to be a black 9mm Beretta.

The man then turned his car onto northbound Lorraine Avenue and took off.

Police say the man is described as a middle-aged man with a short afro and a full "chinstrap"-type beard. He was driving a newer, silver-colored Mazda sedan.

A middle-aged woman was also spotted in the suspect car.

Anyone with information on who the suspects may be is asked to call the Stockton Police Department.
