Police: Man Forces Teen Jogger Into Car, Assaults Her

MODESTO (CBS13) – Police are on the lookout for a man who forced a teenage girl into his car at gunpoint, then raped her.

The incident happened around 7:45 a.m. Friday, according to the Modesto Police Department. The girl was reportedly jogging along W. Morris Avenue, just past McHenry Avenue, when a man armed with a handgun walked up to her.

Police say that the man pointed the gun at the girl and forced her to get into a nearby car. The man then drove for a few minutes until they reached a vacant home. It was then that the man sexually assaulted the girl.

The man later dropped the girl off near Enslen Park and left the area, police say.

The girl has since been taken to the hospital to be treated.

Police describe the suspect as a young Hispanic man who stands about 6' tall and looks to weigh about 140 pounds. He had a 4-5 inch black tattoo on his upper left arm and was driving a black Acura coupe with chrome rims.
