1 Dead, 1 Injured In Sacramento Shooting

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - One person is dead and another person was injured after a shooting in Sacramento on Monday.

The shooting happened in the area of 48th Street and Roosevelt Avenue around 12:48 p.m., according to police.

A Sacramento police K9 took one person into custody a couple of blocks south at 48th Street and Perry Avenue, according to a police statement. Police are trying to determine if that person is related to the shooting.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is investigating the circumstances that led up to the shooting.

The names of the victims and have not been released.
